Short-form thoughts, links, and updates.
Me whenever I start looking at tailwind stuff:

What mastodon clients are folks using on desktop? A web app? A native app? On iOS I really like metatext. On desktop I find the normal web app a bit meh.
Playing around with some native mac clients but nothing jumps out at me as joyous to use.
Webmentions has to be the most excited I’ve felt about a web standard for a long time
And I did manage to, just, get an eleventy site set up. It took all my energy to not keep getting lost in small CSS rabbit holes.
Also no posts yet, but that’s for tonight!
Accountability toot: by tomorrow morning I’ll have a blog shell/site/thing set up and ready for blogging.
Why yes i could read my comics, or I could spend an evening rearranging and sorting the comics.
Happy new years gang

If BeReal goes off today before I’m fully dressed up and fancy looking for tonight, I swear to god
Officially reached “got a thing to flash gameboy carts” levels of time off.

Initial editing works great. Now to see if I can set up mdx parsing
GitHub code spaces is like 90% functional on the iPad

Anyone know any equivalents of the PICO-8 or TIC-80 but that I can create for and play on an iPad?
Alright let’s see if I can get Astro running on my website using my iPad
Now to see if I can edit it easy enough
Didn’t bring a laptop with me and I desperately wanna hack around with the pico 8 and 12 days of tiny code .
Ah good to see I can put glass onion on my “absolutely not textual gayness but there was media hoohaa about the gayness” media shelf
Now we’re cooking on gas, codesandbox’s native app is so much better for web dev than GitHub’s web code space.
Thanks for the tip/plug @nakiostudio

Ok with vercel alone that was very quick to get a boilerplate Astro on there:
Me: I won’t bring my laptop with me on the Xmas break so I can unwind
Also me: god I have a bunch of energy for coding stuff over the xmas break
